Seraya Villa
A dialogue between structure and the rugged Malabar Coast of Kannur.

Spatial Spirit & Vision
Perched on a rocky headland facing the Arabian Sea, Seraya Villa was conceived as an extension of the coastal topography. The structure utilizes raw concrete frames that mimic the stratification of the local laterite cliffs, while dynamic timber screens filter the intense tropical light.
The spatial layout prioritizes horizontal lines that draw the eye toward the ocean. By employing a double-height central pavilion with frameless glass doors, the boundary between the internal lounge and the expansive outdoor terrace is entirely erased, allowing natural sea breezes to passive-cool the residence.
